Kate works in close partnership with Manchester Capital’s CFO, Scott Swenor, and is responsible for supporting client needs and ensuring the smooth operation of MCM’s bill pay services, and other financial reporting requirements. Prior to joining Manchester Capital in 2017, Kate founded a successful accounting, bookkeeping, notary business where for 20 years she worked with high-net-worth individuals, privately held businesses and non-profits in Santa Barbara.
Kate earned her B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara and M.A. in Organizational Management from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. She is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and has held several additional tax preparation licenses and certificates. Kate is passionate about giving back to the community. She is currently developing a children’s cooking program for at-risk youth. She also loves cycling, hiking, and spending time with her family and dog Cookie.
